(no subject)
i've finally gotten over it
it didnt take much
i had missed a lot of english classes cuz i wasnt feeling good the past 2 months
and my teachr hands me backmy hamlet letter with a big fat c on it and tells me thats its ok, we'll talk later, that she understands i haven't been feeling good. so i think hey, thats very nice of her
then i am like hm i don't think i really mind that much getting a c+ or something like that for the term..
then i go to bio
and get back a test that is 116/200
and then i realized that what i was planning to do in my life i don't really wanna do anymore
and i really doubt im gonna get into brown to major in biology with a D in AP Bio. cuz thats what i'm getting for this term. all my tests have been D's and stuff. my labs have been B minuses and C's and so on
i don't wanna be a children's doctor
i wanna do something with animals
maybe even a veterinarian...?
so i came home and opened the huuuge book of colleges i have
and found like 40 colleges around here (in NH, RI, CN, NY, ME, MA) that have to do with biology
and then i might go to a veterinary college or smth... and maybe volunteer at a veterinary clinic this summer?
so after completely turning my life around, i look at my dog
she's been sick for about a week now. really sick. wakes up every two hours. stomach hurts. coughs. its so scary
and my dad's in munich. meaning that when im at school and mom's at work my dog is all alone
noone can rush her to the hospital like they did last time
with that weight on my shoulders, and the whole grades thing
what happened today at school happens
i stand there for half an hour with korka and fred and nyusha trying to comfort two of my best friends who are crying and shaking
at least everyone's okay
so anton won't be allowed to drive for like a year
at least he's alive and walking
and so is dan
and then my mom drives me home and shes in a bad mood and stuff and im like mom whats wrong
and she says "voobshe podihayu ya" or smth of that sort
and tells me that she went to the doctor today because she got her blood test result and it had absolutely no iron in it
they had to redo it
if the second test comes in the same she's gonna have to get a blood transfusion
god, can you believe that all of this happened in one day?
there was more but it all seems so insignificant now
