Say you're entering a contest of some sort. The deadline to enter this contest is, say, November 10th. The website specifically says "Deadline: November 10th (Midnight EST)"
Would you interpret this as:
A. The deadline is exactly 12:00am November 10th, one minute after 11:59pm on November 9th.
B. The deadline is 11:59pm on November 10th.
C. Other - explained in the comments.
(Yes, I am going to try to make my submission early so that this isn't an issue.)
