I've been asked to play guitar in another play next month. First I have to check that it doesn't clash with a big family dinner event that might be around the same time.
The last few weeks were a bit of a dry spell writing-wise, but with a little time on my hands now I've thrown myself right back into it. I looked over the Joe Kum Yung sequence last night for the first time in about a month and I'm actually happy with it in its current state which is a good thing. I've also found a place for a small poem that I wrote a few years ago within the sequence. It shakes things up a little and casts the JKY character in a new perspective which is something I set out to do with this rewrite. I am, however, a little worried that the sequence is a little inconsistent in terms of style and form. I'll have to have a rethink about this particular area.
