The last two nights of the season went exceptionally well. We had a waiting list for Butt Uglyon Friday and both plays had great enthusiastic audiences on the last night. For Butt Ugly we did a special closing night rendition of Like A Virgin which was a shambles, but in a good way. After our final curtain call I felt a little sad - it had all suddenly just come to an end.
Pack-out was quick and painless. The after party was crazy as expected and I had way too much to drink over two hours on an empty stomach. My director and her boyfriend gave me a lift home and all I'll say is that it wasn't a pretty ride.
Had yum char with some China mates on what turned out to be a relatively lazy Sunday. Also popped into Schoc to pick up some chocolates and truffles. Used some Regency Lounge vounchers to see Superman Returns with my brother. Came home, watched CSI and realised I should probably start looking for work again. Applied for two jobs this morning with more to sort out this afternoon.
Haven't had a chance to do my film festival scheduling so I might do that tonight.
Finally have time to start writing again.
