I'm alive
Ugh. I get back from a trip only to come down with an illness a few days after getting back. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, as travel (particularly my style of travel) tends to be pretty tiring, plus being in contact with so many different people (shhh! be quiet she_is_kaygee!) It seems like some sort of flu, though the doctor says I test negative for the A and B strains around here so who knows what I've got. Yipee. I had blood taken to test for malaria (which causes very flu-like symptoms), but so far no word back that it's that.
My doctor did give me Tamiflu and it seems to have helped. While Wednesday through Friday were pretty miserable, I was feeling better and got up and about a bit today. Alas, I was feeling so much cabin fever from being in bed for three days that I overdid things a bit today and now I feel ready to collapse into bed again.
