I love my brown rice concoctions.

To give it just a little something extra, I cooked the rice with vegan boullion.

I have attempted a new Baguette recipe and made my very first plain old regular everyday good for sandwiches White Loaf. The process needs some tweaking because of my altitude, overall moisture in my house/kitchen (or lack thereof..) and my electric stove/model stove/settings, however I do have to say that for my first real attempts these loaves ( Read more... )

Last night's dinner came out really good.

We opened a bottle of Chardonnay, sliced some tomatoes and drizzled a blood-orange balsamic glaze on them and took out some crackers as an appetizer.
