I have to start with this stunning, STUNNING vid:

It's a Draco (Draco/Harry) character study. I've watched all the HP films and enjoyed them. I wouldn't say I was a fan as such though. You don't need to be to enjoy this. The editing is sublime. The use of images and movement will take your breath away. Let alone the narrative. I wish I could find words to do it justice. I can't so you'll just have to watch it to see for yourself. Brilliant.
This was made way back in 2008. I only saw this recently and WOW WOW. I will never EVER complain about finding source again.
One-Night Fandoms: A Tribute to Yuletide by eruthos and thingswithwings
The title basically tells you what it's all about. But you have to actually watch it to appreciate the work and talent that went into making this. Jaw droppingly brilliant.
(It's making me believe my multi-fandom, bromance vid isn't completely out of the question).

I enjoyed the way clips from all over the season have been pieced together to tell a new story. Also... those evil boys are so damn sexy.

I do a lot of listening. This is a fraction of some things I have enjoyed lately.
We're Not in Kansas Anymore. Written by lotrabc. Read by diane_mckay AU J2 NC17
This is not a fic I would normally read. It's pretty damn brutal and dark. It's NC17 - more for the violence than the sex. I know this won't be everyone's cup of tea but I have to rec it because both the writing and the reading are amazing.
The writer creates such a believable prison atmosphere. (It's set in the TV show "OZ" universe). The characters are dark, troubled and so sad but there's a love story in here that just made me want to listen to every word.
The reader's voice and tone were perfect for this type of story. I haven't come across many podfics like this. If you want dark (with loads of hurt!Dean) with your romance then you may well enjoy this.
I loved the following three AUJ2 romances. They are all expertly read and written.
The Best Thing I Ever Ate by neros_violin. Read by chemm80 (NC17)
I love the way this delightful love story is woven around food. A very satisfying story.
There's a Piece of Puzzle Known as Life by strippedpink (formerly keeperofthecheez). Read by juice817. (NC17)
I listened to this a while ago. I accidentally dl'd it again recently and remembered how much I loved it the first time. I just love the scenario and the journey the boys take to final get together. Good, happy making listening.
True Colours by munibunny read by juice817 (yep! I listen to pretty much everything she reads). (R)
I love Jared's simplicity and the magic he brings to everything and everyone, particularly Jensen. I also love the descriptions of Jensen's garden coming to life under Jared's hands.
This is a Sam/Dean 'verse that I've only just found. It was written years ago and proves once again the glory of podfics. It's never too late to discover awesome fic.
The Bonded Verse by drvsilla read by blackbyrdy (R)
I ADORE the way Dru paints pictures with words. Just *guh*. As hot the 'verse. This was written in 2006, so it's very early wincest. Though it would fit in any season because it's about the boys desperately needing each other. When I have my wincest head on this is how I imagine it would be.
Want more? this is a recent podfic rec post at spnroundtable Many I have listened to and agree with the recs. Some I haven't. So yay!

There's so much awesome, sensible, spot on thinking here - comparing Dean (and to some extent Sam) and his S7 angst to where he has already been. It's enlightening and there are some lovely graphics to wallow in as well.

Twist of Fate by zara_zee. AU Gen R (read the warnings)
It was the idea that initially fascinated me with this fic. Winchesters in an Oliver Twist setting. I starting reading and then just couldn't stop. I loved discovering all the canon moments the author had melded with an Oliver Twist type setting. It tells the Winchester's story - from their childhood through to Dean returning from Hell. In fact, I was more scared for Dean's hell in this story than I was in the show. *shudders* It really is a massive work. Highly entertaining; full of hurt, protective and adventurous boys.
I haven't actually finished reading this yet but I'm loving it so much I thought I'd pop it here anyway.
Riding Shotgun by bythedamned (Gen PG13)
Another fic that I just LOVE the idea of. I often steer away from death fics but when the boys are actually together through the fic then it's not really a death fic is it?! Though I haven't finished it so I'm not sure how much of a tear jerker it will be. It's beautifully written though and I'm loving the boys.
