Another bout of sickness, nearly over, and I've been alternating between exploring my HDDs and reading. I'm also fairly up to date on my current 'must watch' list.

OMG Awesome!

I'm going to premptively suggest there may be spoilers in the comments.

Managed to hold off and watch both parts together. Wow!
It wasn't perfect, and parts of the plot were so predictable, yet it still managed to be an entertaining romp (if overly sentimental in parts).

I started writing a comment on the messy relationship Merlin and arthur have in canon. Then it became a post.

Supernatural continues as is - a few clunky bastardisations of myth/religion, and enough emo to rip out my heart and stomp on it (if I could take it seriously).
Vampire Diaries, which premiered before Supernatural, was ominous. I had to share a (nonspoilery) exerpt from a review:

It may be well past the air dates, yet I've finally found time to start season 2 of Gossip Girl. I'm loving it, in a guilty pleasure kind of way. Worse yet, I find myself completely shipping Chuck/Blair. I know, a het OTP - WTF!
(Blair is a girl, darn those tricksy unisex/slight spelling variant names)
