Music practice was this Sunday again. I almost forgot about it until Sol called me. It was lots of fun, had a big turnout. For the first time, I sang with sheet music and other singers. My friend Luke is coming by on the 13th of October for Composition Day! We'll be gathering all the fragments of songs and dances and what have you that we've written and set to work on polishing them up. Tenor recorder get!

I'm at lunch playing the bit of Cantiga de Santa Maria Mael Eoin printed out for me for RAV. It works fine on soprano, but to play it on sopranino I either have to play it like it was a soprano an have it come out a fourth higher, or play it an octave higher than written. I haven't picked it up much since our last practice season before Wiosna in April, and playing for an hour absolutely murdered my fingers.
