Can't make war camp this weekend, which makes me sad. First time in my three years of SCA (which is crazy by itself) that I won't be there. Was looking forward to seeing Erica and Margaret and my Bhakail buddies. On the bright side, job interview Monday! Wish me luck!

Got up early, grabbed some Starbucks, went to Animal Kingdom. It's a very cool place, part zoo, part theme park. I got bitten trying to pet a goose, but it was more of "can I eat this?" and not an attack and didn't hurt. Yesterday I flew for the first time, to Philadelphia and then onward to Fort Lauderdale in Florida. The first leg of the trip was like a wonderful rollercoaster ride. Stretched for 30 minutes last night. I had forgotten how relaxing it is. If I can keep this up it will be really nice.

I'm in need of cuddles, it seems. Jen almost got cuddled on Comp Day, and I'm missing bring able to hold Jess. Pillows aren't the same, I'm still running below touch quota. If only I hadn't been forced to incinerate my best friend, the Aperture Sciences Weighted Companion Cube, perhaps it could keep me company.

I'm totally in love with Python list comprehensions. SO handy.

Made a bubblesort from scratch in python. Easy, but a decent first start to remembering programming. Next up is to get a quicksort working without referencing anything, see if I remember my algorithms. Still no tkinter, though. I'll try playing with the pygame module instead, learn SDL maybe?

Now that I've actually put in a job app, and more on the way, I'm getting anxious about moving. It's going to be a big change. I've lived at college, but it isn't nearly the same. New people, new job, new area... It's a lot to deal with. I'm bad with change. :-(
