Today was an outdoor shooting day, which I'd never done before. Started at 18m, which is what we do inside and went about as well as it does inside. Moved on to 30m and after a few rounds managed to get more arrows on the block than in the grass. Then a competition started and I moved to the free block, which was at 40 yards. I got a lucky few in the yellow, but most of the time I was lucky to get them into the block at all. At that distance I am starting to notice that my bow is fairly light and slow, and the wind really starts influencing arrow flight. At some point I am going to feel its limitations - hopefully by then I will have the budget to upgrade. It was lots of fun, apart from the looking-into-the-sun headache I've got now.
