i will be leaving for New Jersey by Friday, May 19th, as i have to be there by Sunday, May 21st. i will be there until ~August 1st. i'm doing a research project at Rutgers on the paleoventilation of the South Pacific, which means i'm sorting foraminifera shells from cores [read: mud]. It's way more exciting than you think/i'm making it sound this evening.
Because of this, i will only be in EC between ~May 14th-19th, and i am planning on having a big party on May 16th at my dad's house. That's a Monday, 7:00. Chances are if you're reading this you're invited. Especially Jenny, who reminded me that i ought to post this sort of news to lj also. The theme is 1920s-style Salon, so come all dolled up and ready to get zozzled (yes, those are both words originating in the 20s; no, i don't really care what anyone does at any of my parties).
Mmmm, since i'm on the subject of partying this summer, MaRy & i are having the Third Annual "Damn We're Old" Fest, except it's in August. Whoops. The theme is even more chaotic than last year, though i'm not sure it's okay to share yet, so i'm not.
