Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.

1. yes, this post would have been cooler had it been done a few days ago.
2. i just finished reading
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, by John Perkins. Perkins was here in Madison earlier this semestre, and i saw him speak then. His book, while not stylistically my favorite, is amazing and everyone should read it. Hence this post on it.
3. Hi Glynis! i don't know what you meant by your last post, but plenty of the issues raised towards the end of CoaEHM are in a similar vein. Dire statistics, the state of the world, confessions and redemption.
4. i have much more to say on the subject, but A. homework calls and B. i'm not incredibly coherent lately.
