Well, I sure was wrong yesterday about the snow not sticking. It's a winter wonderland out there. Not exactly what we were looking for in April, but oh well. Back into winter boots and downy parkas.

We've had an uncommonly mild winter, really, so it's churlish to complain about snow. Even in April. Even though the worst snowstorm of the season was in March, which is to say three months past a usual Canadian schedule. There will no doubt be long, hot, sweaty, un-airconditioned days this summer when it's too hot to move. I know this. History supports this theory. Wednesday: errands, all day, car-enabled and Toronto-based. Doctor appointment, pharmacy after, and then over an hour at some boring garage getting the car lots of liquid love: oil change, transmission and rad flush.
