Wednesday: errands, all day, car-enabled and Toronto-based. Doctor appointment, pharmacy after, and then over an hour at some boring garage getting the car lots of liquid love: oil change, transmission and rad flush. We went mighty game hunting today- we need three major kitchen appliances. A dishwasher, a fridge, and a really decent gas stove. The salesman at the national chain we visited seemed surprised that we'd done our homework, knew exactly what we wanted, and required no sales pitch of any kind: all we wanted was to know how good of a deal he could give ( Read more... )
