rain...forever
That about sums up the weekend. Plans to visit Corky's family's home in Sea Isle, NJ are all but foiled due to my mom's illness and the endless supply of rain to the northeast. At any rate, it was a good time for me to catch up on rest, as this is the first weekend i've been home the whole time in a few weeks now.
It's been a while since I've seen the Corkmeister and his family and I regret not being able to make it...there's some chance of maybe going monday, but we'll see.
I got my new car, and I love it. I have been sort of paranoid about it as it's really the biggust purchase i've made and all that other stuff one would worry about, but i'm getting over it.
I jammed with the dude's today, which was fun...the first time in a while and it felt pretty good. I must admit, i felt that jamming on "dead or alive" by bon jovi was a little ridonkulous, but Dubwell's solo would have made Richie Sambora proud. I was really feeling it during the "have a cigar" jam by floyd...esp. in my solo, I'm not saying it was good....but it felt good. 'nuff said....
