Busy couple of days....

I don't know why....but I love to cram things in....don't take that the wrong way. But the last 2 days were made busier than they could've been, by yours truly (me).....Not to say that any of that was in vain, because I wanted to do everything I did....but I think I enjoy the thrill of spontaneaity(sp?)

But it started off leaving early Monday morning for a trip to Corky's beach house in Sea Isle. I took DavidBowieLover(DBL) down and we had a great time with him and his family. Despite the shit weekend weather in PA, the beach was great, the water was extremely refreshing, and it was just overall good times. Well worth it considering the next time, I will probably have to head up to Providence to see him.

Came back Monday night and I was pleased to see the Scion doing very well on gas mileage. Also spent the night at DBL's place and left early again for PSU to pick up the rest of her things. We took her Dad's King Ranch, which is the biggest mother trucker you've ever seen, Turbo Diesel, V8 engine....needless to say we were on level with the tractor trailors and looked down at every other commercial truck. PSU was sweltering hot and unfortunately there wasn't much time to enjoy the visit because of impeding rain storms. We threw her stuff in there, and all is well until Harrisburg where it starts pouring and we have to pull over the truck to get the tarp over her dresser and chairs....I feared the worst, wood + water = warped, but amazingly it was fine when we got back. so oh well, I was a gas guzzling fucker for a day, but at least it was for something practical, you know like cruising to the Regal in your H2......

I ate with her family and had a pretty good time...shooting the shit really. We discussed the up coming Europe trip and I'm getting pretty excited about it and lucky that they invited me. I have a feeling there will be many good nights at pubs and exciting day trips...hopefully some good sleep, which is what i need right about now.
