That's right, I have the live journal now...how long I keep it or how much I use it is yet to be seen. But the truth of the matter is I agonized about doing something like this for maybe almost a couple years. Is there value in writing out your thoughts rather than locking them up in the noggen? Do you really want people, perhaps even strangers reading this stuff? Yes...and Yes.... There must be, why the hell would anyone else do it...sort of like an extension of IM profiles and away messages...except that you don't feel like your whining in a forum where everybody can see you....live journal requires that "extra effort"...that "push over the cliff" to see your thoughts...which is of course just a simple click, but it makes a huge difference.....which is a funny thing in itself...clicks are money making schemes nowadays..so the effort of a click means something....somewhat of an honor isn't it? that someone would click you....
At any rate, I don't think I will make this overly personal, from now on, I will refer to myself as Artie (as is my alter ego) and most likely refer to anyone in this blog by some name that might not necessarily be a name (noun or maybe adj.) I just read a pretty interesting philosophical/mystery called "The NY Trilogy" where the author, Paul Auster, does something similar....good book by the way.
