It was actually so bad last night that each stroke of the keys, during an e-mail I had to write, felt like needles being jammed into my finger tips. I guess I should go see the doctor, but I am not sure if I want to spend the time. I finished TAing for Organic chemistry a couple weeks ago, and I have been able to focus on research, which isn't always an optimistically inspiring event. My research adviser is away for the week, so I am left with just my own wits, and a few instructions. I already had to make changes to my plans, as the machinists aren't accepting jobs today and I have to do that tomorrow. (That was going to be my morning event.)
I had jury duty last week. This was my first time actually being called into the court to go through the selection process, although in our county that doesn't mean you actually are in the box answering questions, some of us had to just siting the audience and listen, which was actually entertaining at times, because we were in a small city of our county, which apparently has pretty laid back attorneys, judges, and defendants, and there were several humorous moments and lightheartedness. To make a long story short, I got to try a new Chinese fast food place, and read a good portion of the last book of the Jedi Academy trilogy. And I got to people watch in the most unique way (that is the watching of the selection process.)
Not much else to report. Life in general is good. My Christian gathering is preparing for a conference we are holding on Matthew 11. And we are preparing and having interesting and edifying discussions.
