FIRE UPDATE PART II
So, I heard from a person at a bank whose friend lives in Trabuco like me, that the police told her that we won't be able to go home for another week. WTF!?!?!? My home is not burned down, which is good.
I went driving around up towards my house and there was a huuuuuUUUuuuuge curling cloud that looked almost like a mushroom cloud was visible. As I got closer I could see huge thick curls of smoke pushing its way up, roiling around like a basket full of snakes, it was kinda sinister looking actually.
All I could tell was that it was behind the hills of the hills by my house, and a bit further away, so that was a good sign, but bad for all the super rich people who hide their homes there.
So. It is reported that 1 MILLION people were evacuated. 1800 people lost their homes in San Diego. 14 homes have been destroyed here in Trabuco/Silverado. About 12,600 San Diego Gas and Electric customers remain without power and 675 are without natural gas.
I'm REALLYhoping my power and water hasn't gone out. All my cold food ;___;. And can you imagine the SMELL??? Ugh. Well gtg! I'll post more updates later!
