This morning is proving to be be a lot calmer than last night.  Not only did I manage to get some real sleep, but I've also somehow made it to a point where I can feel calm again.  I suppose it is mostly the fact that I slept well, even despite the fact that I woke up once in the night and didn't make it back to sleep for about an hour.  I feel ( Read more... )

Sometimes I wonder how anyone manages to get through life without going stark raving mad.  I'm just not sure how I feel right now -- my mind is a kaleidoscope of emotion and indecision that defies any and all of my attempts to calm it or otherwise gain some measure of control.  All I can do is take refuge in my writing.

Today has been - well, it’s been slow.  I’ve had a couple of things to do but, when it comes right down to doing them, I find I have insufficient information.  Thus I’ve resolved that letting things process mentally for a bit will help.  Perhaps revisiting the task later will give me a bit of a new perspective.
