It's a sad day, after a few turbulent years, https://8tracks.com/ is finally shutting down.
Sure it may have been a 90% external Youtube playlist arrangement, but it could also have direct uploaded tracks in the mix and made it possible for you to arrange music in a playlist even if it wasn't available on any streaming service. I had a number of unique remixes and tracks that are not on other services, so it was great for that. I downloaded the playlist text files just in case.
I heard https://playmoss.com/en/ may be a good alternative but I haven't had the chance to check it out (really I'm just posting it here for my own footnote)
I moved my playlists over to Spotify even though I'm not much of a fan of it, it's the thing people are using these days. Here, have a link.
