Subversiv syslöjd (Subversive sewing), will be making an
appearance at Usch Con, Ulricehamn's VERY OWN gaming convention the
last weekend of this month! Never mind if you live in Australia, North
America, wherever! Ya gotta come! Ya know ya wanna!!!
Anyway, Subversiv syslöjd is my "set free your creativity" workshop
thingie. Since Usch Con is a gaming convention I was thinking people
might be interested in Cosplay type stuff and will bring various props
such as masks, etc. but I focus on offering possibilities. Everyone
takes shop and home ec in Sweden, but the projects tend to be
determined in advance by the teacher. Everyone who participates in my
workshop decides for herself or himself what to make/do. Last summer,
when I did this at Sjuhäradsfestival, the single most common question
I got was "can I make ANYTHING? Whatever *I* want?"
