One of the local shops here is now carrying bone fide HATBOXES!!! Big ones! And they are plain carton so I can decorate them myself. The only reason I didn't buy one today was that I was on my way to the grocery store and didn't feel up to hauling another bag. Yep, as soon as I saw the name I thought "that product is for me!" because I certainly feel distressed often enough!!! I bought an ink pad in Milled Lavender and am now alternating between watching Youtube tutorials and running to my kitchen to try-out the different techniques. Well, I should go down to the Minigalleri and hang some photos and my price list but I still have my headcold and there is a snow-storm outside. This show is called Dockornas Värld: mer än bara lek! (The world of dolls: more than just play!) and it runs through the end of this month.

Today I went to the knitting cafe Gun-britt holds as Krusidull (her yarn shop) and learned how to knit again. Actually, I learned how to knit "på svenska" for the first time. The Swedish technique is simpler than the North American and goes faster as well. Now I've bought a pair of bamboo knitting needles and can practice all week until next week's ( Read more... )
