Bah

Still no internet at work. Makes scheduling lunch meetings of 20 or so people joyful fun, I tell you, when you can't use email.  My favorite quote from an idiot service rep?  "EVERYONE has a dialup backup these days."  Yeah, moron, how many offices even HAVE dialup modems in their PCs anymore?  We'll see how things go when I start the rounds of terrorizing AT&T employees again today.

I actually managed to get up before 7:15 this morning.  It doesn't matter what time I go to bed - 8 pm or 11 pm - I always want to sleep until 8 or 9 am these days.  It's quite a change from pre-pregnancy, where I couldn't sleep an hour straight without waking up and was lucky to get 4 hours a night.  I'm sure baby will have something to say about sleep schedules when she arrives.  ;-)

Speaking of sleep, I had the WORST nightmare the other night.  I don't know what it was about, but I woke up about 5 am with my heart pounding so hard it hurt and I couldn't breathe.  I knew it was a nightmare.  Bear wasn't in bed (he'd fallen asleep on the couch watching Discovery Channel) but I was so jittery I had to go wake him up and make him come to bed so I could calm down.  Poor Bear.  He didn't get back to sleep until after I left for work.

Bear's uncle's wife is in her early forties and expecting her first baby at the end of the month.  I had to explain to the boys that the longer the baby waited to get here, the safer the little one would be.  That prompted an entire discussion of when it is safe for babies to be born, NICU, and related topics.  So now they are ready to wait for their new little cousin to be born later rather than sooner.  Hopefully they'll remember it come April and not get too impatient for their sister to arrive.

Time for work.  TTFN all.

sleep, jobstuff, bebeh
