Got a doc appt today.
Gonna ask him if there is ANYTHING I can do for the fact that everytime I cough very hard, I get sick. If I blow my nose, it often makes me cough, which makes me sick. I was laughing so hard about a prank we pulled on J1 the other night that I got sick. My throat just spasms... and it's getting OLD quick. It's also a bit scary, because with the spasms, I am afraid of choking, because I can't always "clear" my throat with each... um... upheaval. So I'm in there feeling like I'm choking to death. *grrr*
Last night was really bad. I thought Bear was gonna have to do the heimlich.
It could be a reflux issue unrelated to the pregnancy, but since it started after I was pregnant, I guess not. I'm afraid to cough, sneeze, laugh, or even *burp* right now.
Dangit, I thought coughing and laughing weren't supposed to be a problem until I was 8 months pregnant and it would make me pee on myself!
Still have nausea despite attempts at remedies at home, so I'm going to see if he'll give me something today. Nausea is only overwhelming at night, so if the meds make me sleepy, that won't be a big deal. Boss has also said if I had to take them during the day, she'd understand if I was a little zonked (she keeps reminding me that I can take a nap at work if I want... *G*).
I just keep telling myself that it could be worse. At least I can keep food down during the day - it's the after 4-5pm part that sucks. After an LJ friend's description of her pregnancy and having to have daily meds just to keep ONE bite of food down, I can't complain too much. It could be a lot worse.
