Ups and Downs
I am making a mix CD. I shall call it cheese. Cheese: <3 Mix Guaranteed to Make You Regurgitate. Lyzzie is making a mix. It's gonna have the "Teaching Me How To Love You" song on it. That song is so freakin pretty, and it reminds me so much of... stuff. It makes me feel better about everything. Go look it up, it's pretty.
I got a fortune. Ya know, from a Chinese cookie. "NEVER mock the cookie!" (Thank you, Uncle.) The fortune said "You will soon bring someone happiness." That sounds nice.
Oh, we had musical rehearsal today. Yes, on a Friday, because of mid-winter break. In short, it was AWFUL. Okay, I am being a little harsh, it was only our first time with the instruments (we didn't even have all of them) and Ms. Sagi was sick. She is the only one keeping us in line, on-key, and in tempo. So considering the many factors against us, we did alright. And we did improve as rehearsal went on. But it's going to be very stressful the next few weeks, we have a lot to do and only a couple more weeks of rehearsing to get it right. Watching certain parts is painful, it really is. But now that we got all that crap out of our systems, hopefully it will get sorted out now. We can only improve, it's not possible to do worse.
Hey, any musical cast reading this, I know I'm complaining and kvetching and whatnot, but you guys rock. we've worked so hard and I know we're going to put on a wonderful show. Remember, our standards are also a little higher than those of the majority of people who will be watching us. Jen (a stage crew person) watched the rehearsal today and she said it was awesome. So think of how great they'll think it is when we actually do a good job!
Alright, I'm exhausted, I know I should catch up on some work but instead I'm going to slack off. And write some quotes from today. I have a whole week to work, but tonight is time to be lazy.

"Oh my GOD you watched THE CHEMISTRY PORN!"
-You know, that video from Chem where there's the guy "cleaning" the long metal rod (by rubbing it with a cloth thing back and forth...) and then he puts it between the two metal balls and... yeah, it's the most hilarious thing.
"Why don't you wear your glasses?"
"'Cuz I'm VAIN and SHALLOW!"
"Oh yes, Yar, you are totally vain and shallow." *rolls eyes*
