Sooo, since I'm out of school now (well, actually, I've been off since the end of April, but I've been a bit busy), I thought I'd do another meme since I enjoyed the other one so much! So, I found a JE-themed one~
Also, I've been watching some (new to me) Yamapi dramas! I finished Buzzer Beat in April, and I watched the short mini series Ppoi at the end of April (thanks to
miyamapi , because she told me Yamapi was dressed like a girl in it so I had to IMMEDIATELY watch it XD). And now, today, I finished Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni (which I started watching because I saw the cute gif of it in
yamapigifaday ). And I have to say, I'm not quite sure how I feel after watching it (but I was overjoyed to see Kuroda-sensei from CB in it, since I really liked him X3. The lady from Kurosagi was in it as well!). On one hand, I felt bad for Yamapi's character, who was going through a tough time without anyone knowing; but, on the other hand, I'm completely furious at this drama. First off, I didn't see the "love" or chemistry between Takuma and Kozue. It seemed more like they were, to borrow a phrase from Buzzer Beat, "licking each others' wounds", and I only really saw a parent-child type relationship between them. Secondly, both Kozue and Takuma had such nice people around them that they were hurting and, in Kozue's case, lying to. Hideo-san was such a good guy that I constantly felt sad for him whenever Kozue was with Takuma (even though there was nothing really physical between them, the emotional cheating was hurting just as much). He honestly didn't deserve that to happen to him, and I didn't really see anything wrong with Kozue's and his' marriage apart from the fact they were childless (which shouldn't have made a difference). I also felt bad for Kaori-san, who was so devoted to Takuma (I didn't like Soho at all, even if she claimed to like Takuma. She was very mean and bitchy). Thirdly, Kozue was a hypocrite. At the beginning she was so against women cheating (or "getting involved with another guy") on their husbands, but she eventually did that too! Not to mention she was advising and chastising her male colleague about cheating when she was doing the same thing! Grrrr!!! But, what I realized while watching this drama, is that I could never, never, never hate a character Yamapi plays. Sure I was mad at Takuma when he didn't let go of his feelings for Kozue, but it wasn't entirely his fault. She should have told him straight out she was married (instead of leading him to believe she was single), as well as the fact that he felt so alone and that his life was going out of control.... But, in the end, I couldn't hate his character even after there were many reasons to do so :') Once again, Yamapi's acting was superb, and I'm happy I watched the drama so I could see Pi-chama's cute face~
Next, I think I'll watch Dragon Zakura, but I'm not sure yet if I'll start it this weekend or next week, since I'll be busy (I'm finally going to take my driving test for my license on Monday, so maybe if I pass I'll celebrate by watching it! So, wish me luck~!)
Now, onto the meme:
