Fuck this.

I cannot fucking believe this. My report came in yesterday, and Dad talked to me about it just now. Oh, wait, allow me to reiterate; yelled at me for it ( Read more... )

Your brother sounds exactly like mine. He does have a knack for languages, but apparently his French Teacher hated him and insisted he was terrible at languages [hence why he hates the language so much]. Next year he was top of the grade for Japanese.

I miss him a lot too. I mean, when he is here, it's like I get blamed for everything, but it's just great that he's there. I mean, I'll always say 'Oh thank goodness you're leaving' or 'Finally, some peace in the house!' or something like that, or like when my grandparents ask 'Do you miss him?' I'll go 'Me? Miss my brother? You must be joking' sort of thing.

Oddly, it's sort of nice that I can relate to someone, you know. I mean, in my own grade it's like, 'You got a 5B! OMGZ!11!1onhundredandeleven!! Can we like swap like our grades so I can be all like geeky like you, y'know?' so, erm, not really. And I don't know anyone with an older sibling [other than Mathilde, who's sister is supposdely 27. Not that care at all] so it isn't like anyone actually understands it. I mean, I can tell my friens just as easily as I can post this in my LJ [though I haven't, actually. Half the stuff in my Lj isn't really what I would discuss with people my own age] but it doesn't go as far as actually understanding.

I think you understood those rambles somewhere along the lines.

And now I just missed a violin concert because I had to see the doctor. Bleah. Stress sucks. If it's this bad now, with 6 music exams in a year, 3 of which backed up with a major concert, I really don't want to know what the IB's like.

Thanks, Rajeeta. You have no idea how much that helped, especially from someone I actually know, and can relate. -hugs- I hope you feel better!

Cheers,
<3 Ris
