Wow. It's been over 3 months since I last updated.
Dilan has been home for a three-week R&R and gone again.
My house is a complete disaster. Like, really, a disaster. If you came to my house to surprise me to try to cheer me up, I'd probably shoot your ass and toss you right back out in the front yard. Yes.
My car broke down on me last week at 1-something in the morning on the way home from Walmart. Yes, Walmart. *sigh* In the middle of the road, it died. Right where I stopped at a light. It was sad. It made me want to cry. The best part? I was a total (overly-exceptional) idiot and left my cellphone at home. AT HOME!
Some wonderfully helpful people stopped and tried to give me a jump (unsuccessfully.) And then let me use their cellphone so I could call Dilan and let him know, and then call AAA.
Btw, AAA: You Suck. Your wait times by and far overshadows your usefulness. I mean, yeah, a free tow for the first 5 miles? Awesome. Waiting over an hour with a car full of perishable food? Not awesome!
In other news, today is our anniversary. .... I'm still reeling over the fact that we're married. At all. It's been a full year? No. Hold that, WE SURVIVED a whole year? Without killing each other. Without immediately wanting a divorce. ... Holy fuck.
Also, R&R? WAS AWESOME! I spent weeks ahead of time being depressed as hell and crap, fully expecting things to be total hell trying to transfer out of "War Zone" and into "Married", but it wasn't that bad. I hope when he comes home for good that it will be that easy but I think I'll just close my eyes and pretend that explosion isn't on the horizon. *nods* It's next year anyway. O.o
