I've started the fall semester, and I count myself lucky to have gotten the classes I needed. I know many people who didn't get classes they needed, and some who didn't get any classes at all. I got a call from Cassie this evening, and she is safe with her family (minus Ethan, who elected to stay in his apartment) in a hotel in Fredericksburg. So, hopefully the storm will pass and everything will be okay in a couple days. So, everybody keep danamulder in your thoughts and prayers. :)

So, my mom and the cats are now on their way to Oregon. The house is all wrapped up and everything.

I don't quite know how to react to a twenty-four year stage of my life being over.

In other news, I got less than an hour of sleep last night! Not for lack of trying!

Charlton Heston died Saturday night.

I was just watching Planet of the Apes on Friday night, and I was just telling John at work how much I love Charlton Heston. I love him, and I'm really sad he's gone.
