Computer Trouble--Part 2
We interrupt this regularly scheduled blog for an important announcement:
Those of you who have been on my flist for awhile will remember my horrible computer trouble back in March and April when my laptop died a slow, painful death. Well, now my new laptop is in danger of doing the same thing. In order to use the school internet in my room, I have to download a login thingie, but this time I also had to download Windows Vista SP1. Whenever I'd download it, though, my comp wouldn't recognize my internet connection. Finally, I tried it again today only to have my computer crash.
I'm in the computer lab right now--it's dark outside--and I found a solution which requires me to have my Windows Vista installation DVD. Which I don't have here. I won't be able to get it until Friday when I can go home again. Which means no fangirling, checking comms, or commenting until I get this straightened out. Hopefully it will be resolved on Friday, but if not, then it will be awhile before I'm back.
You never know how much your attached to your laptop until you might lose it. Oh, man, I'm sad.
