teh birthday and other stuff

I'm trying not to be so nocturnal and failing. I teach some AM classes in the spring and will have to adjust by then or spend a few weeks dying as my days force the adjustment. What I need is a big ole monitoring job. That would do the trick. hahahaha

So the four youngest made me breakfast on Sunday and served me strong hot coffee with tons of half

Ahhhhh, a quiet day...I appreciate those more and more...something about age makes on realize time is precious and so are family members and friends we love as family. It's a bit cooler here...we haven't had the AC on in about a month, so the bill has reflected this..still, though, it's $280 and we're conservative users..ughhhh! And, ohhhh, I love it!!!! The left coast! In a word or two, we were both just hungry for the scent of salt water and air....to see water because in Vegas, there is literally none! We also watched a beautiful sunset together and made it a romantic moment....all in all, beautiful and Allyson is now officially a certified doula! I'm counting my fortunes and there are many....may the penduluum continue to swing toward the high road in both your life and mine..that is my birthday wish for you! Now, it's time to watch the presidential debate which, ironically, is on my campus...I tried to get seats, but my name was selected for the lottery...ohhh well, I'm in the peace and tranquility of my home! Happy day to you!

I'm so glad you got to the beach and it was good. Give Allyson my congratulations - that's a wonderful achievement.

I thought of you when I sat down to watch the first few minutes of the debate! I had to leave, though, since I have a night class on Thursdays. My teens recorded it for me. It's not as interesting watching it the next day after everyone has begun talking about it - but oh well. ;)

That is an absolutely spectacular birthday wish - I'll grab that one with both hands - for both of us! Thank you!
