Sick with bug
(Laugh) I've finished my classwork and only have a little more to do as a TA (which can be done from home), and for the first time in years I've come down with a bug of some kind. Sore throat, coughing, stuffed up head, and maybe a fever.
Sue came down with it at exactly the same time... within an hour. She's doing much better, however.
At least now getting sick won't hurt us. Missing a class at the graduate level is really problematic. While our $$$ situation still isn't good (I need to find a job to start improving that), being down for a few days is a huge change in pace. I've been non-stop on the go for the last three years, and need to rest anyway.
The only thing is, I wonder if a bug like this can affect blood pressure and blood sugar. Both are high.
