Yes, aliveness!
Yep, this be me! alive! and well! I have been lurking more heavily than usual -indeed, not even lurking at times- as it's been a crazy couple of months.
First, happy things, I've got this cute geek boyfriend -who might or might not be reading this *glares*- and it's been quite a ride! He's adorable. I met him at a bar -I always wondered how people could meet at a bar, like, that's.. kind of creepy? I don't trust strangers in bars with personal information!- but.. he was there with my friends, and we clicked, and then like, everything's been happening very quickly... but. I'm happy! So crazy! and it's been a nonstop train of social engagements since my brother's wedding... I have another wedding next week, and I've gone to other 3 wedding's beside my brother's, and meeting my boyfriend's family, and bridal showers, my brother and father PhD's exams, and a vigil and a funeral, as my grandma passed away. It's been all.. a huge social whirlwind, though work has been quiet...
Anyway. I really hope after October my life calms down a little bit in that regards 'cause it's really tiring. I'm not made for such gatherings!
I've started reading The Wheel of Time books, and I just finished the first one today. The first two thirds didn't really make me sing praises, but were entertaining enough -if slow- but the last third picked up and I'm going to try to keep the pace!
And, of course.. Bruce is back! or, back and on his way back, depending on the title! The Road Home books are making me swoon like the fangirl I am because Bruce is so understatedly sweet and respectful and.. sane and lonely! SO LONELY. AUGH. GIVE HIM A HUG, SOMEONE. But he's being also like, sci-fi crazy awesome, and it's fun to see him run around with the power suit being everything Bruce can be -not Batman, but Bruce, all the things he can make out of nothing- because we all know it's not going to stick, is like.. just a bit of awesome fun before he's back to the batsuit, and mmm, do I love power suits. I can't wait to see what Batman Inc. tries to do! But.. there is so much Timmy love in the batbooks right now, and each of the road home one shots was full of batfamily love! Bruce! :D And Return of Bruce Wayne is like, a super awesome crazy ride, I cannn'tttt wait for the last issue! and the trades! ahhh! the trades! the awesome, all of it together! +twirls+ BATMAN!
