Ship Wars?
So, my FList is full of passionate urgings to pick a 'ship and fight for it.
I was thinking about it, but I realized-- I don't really ship anyone in the Trek Reboot fandom.
Or rather, I ship EVERYBODY in the Trek Reboot fandom. I love to read pretty much any pairing, threesome, or moresome. I've never understood rabid 'shippers who claim that anyone who doesn't agree with them is insane... look, we're all aware that the likelihood of JJ Abrams having Scotty boink Chekov in the next movie is slim to none. Hell, there's next to no chance of there being more than epic bromances between Kirk, Bones, and Spock! We're all throwing canon out the window, why do we have to hate on the people who throw it further?
Now, this fandom has so far been AMAZING about the lack of wank. But I'm a bit worried that people are going to get crazy because of this, and I'll be alone with my pansexual, polyamorous crew. Which, really, might not be too bad except for the fact that I'd be living entirely in my head, and I should probably avoid that.
Also, I'm writing. Really. I've got two half-done kink meme fills that are just crawling along because I can't write pr0nz in my parents' house.
