Swine Flu

I suspect that anyone reading this is intelligent enough to figure these things out, but...

1. Wash your hands. Use any type of soap (even toothpaste works). Wash for about 15 seconds. Do so before eating, after riding BART or Muni, when you get home, etc.

2. Don't go to the hospital unless you absolutely need to EVEN IF YOU HAVE MILD COLD/FLU SYMPTOMS. Why not? Chances are very good that you don't actually have swine flu - and you dramatically increase your chances of catching swine flu (or something worse) when you voluntarily enter a pit of germs (AKA hospital). Also: it's expensive.

3. If you feel sick, stay home. (Unless you feel really, really sick. Then, see your doctor.)

Personally, I'm mildly concerned about the swine flu - especially since my standard line about any illness is, "I'm not worried! I'm young and healthy!" I think there is potential for things to get interesting, but also a huge chance that this will vanish in the near future.

And, now: MASK USAGE FAIL!
