I'm ALIVE!
So, I’ve been asked to update...and I’ll post this tomorrow morning since I’m on my laptop right now and the internet is being really stupid. Curse you U of M tech staff!
It’s been a long time and so much has happened. I’ll just recap things that come to mind.
*deep breath*
When last we left off, I was without car and stranded in the country. Well, I bought a new car! Well, “new” old car! (It’s new to me!) No, it’s not a camry *insert sad face* but it’s grown on me. She’s a ’94 Pontiac Grand Prix. (V6 3.1 L Engine ^-^) I had some slight problems with the body...it shouldn’t have passed safety...heh. The right rear rocker was all rusted out as well as the back panel that the bumper is bolted to....joy. But I went and got them to fix it for free since, well, it was supposed to be fixed before that. So, all is good on that front. It made for some interesting times and some interesting words from me though, lol.
I’m going to go see Phantom of the Opera! I bought tickets for the night of the 6 month mark with Ivan. That should be awesome. I’m also going to get all dolled up to freak him out.
Speaking of said boy, things are still going great. Which is weird... I keep waiting for something bad to happen (pessimistic I know) like he’ll just loose interest or realize he could do better. (Ok, and no reprimanding me, it’s my feelings and you can’t control how you feel.) The real reason I’m so paranoid is because I’ve just never felt so serious or strongly about a guy in a non-friend way. But it’s still way too early to tell how much I like him. I think it’s more the fact that I know there is the potential for me to continue to like him more and more... Again, I’m just going to take this one day at a time.
Now lets switch gears to a much less “Tami’s going mental” area...
I’m finally getting a lizard! No, it is not me just saying it for the millionth time; I even have the terrarium! I’m getting a Gargoyle Gecko. He’s going to be just a baby, so I’ll get to watch him grow up. Though, there was trouble getting them shipped in so they have been delayed 3 weeks. :\ However, I really like River City Reptiles (and they are the only ones even getting in Gargoyle Geckos) so I’m waiting.
My father and I discussed the heating situation in our house. This year we cannot have periods of time with no oil for the furnace. Not only do we freeze, but depending on how cold it gets it could kill my lizard. So, he’s giving me the # and everything for our delivery guy and I’m going to make a deal so that it gets fully filled before we run out. So, that’s my next project this week.
Note: Posted on September 22 but WAS written on the 19th. GOT MY WIRELESS WORKING AGAIN. BOOYEAH!
