Okay, yeah, I didn't need to see Killshot.
It kept switching between bizarre and silly and boring and icky and just random and urgh, what a waste of an arvo. I was quite literally watching it and thinking "Man, I should have rented out Dead Like Me season one again ..."
And Joe was just hilarious which is so not what I was expecting from his role. And though I was quite glad at what happened, I did have the totally inappropriate thought of "You know, if Joseph Gordon-Levitt asked me to take my top off? ... I would. I mean, he'd have to convince me and I'd argue him just for the sake of arguing long and loud but yeah, I would. Why wouldn't I?" So inappropriate but see, that was the movie. Just ... eeyurgh.
I never did like Mickey Rourke. Not that I was ever allowed to watch the food sex and now it just seems lame to me. *snort* And no, sorry, no interest in wrestling at all, ta ver' much.
I should have rented out Dead Like Me. I've been listening lately to a song I got off a shipper mix which is prolly why the show's in my head. Absolutely marvellous song, Meaningless Love by Under The Influence Of Giants. Even if I've been racking my brain all day to remember the name of Callum Blue's character, omg. Reggie and ... Reggie and ... *looks at icon keywords* Mason! Ohmyfuckinggod. My brain, it is turning to the cheese. Reggie and Mason. My Dead Like Me ship of choice.
Omg, what is WRONG with me?! Not Reggie, Georgia. Christ.
Possession is, in fact, hotter the second time around. *nods* Just delicious.
And speaking of music, I've spent the evening downloading Bag Raiders songs only to discover that I don't like any of them except for this one I've heard on the radio which I freaking adore to the ends of the earth and back. It might be the yummy male vocals and the gorgeous 'ooh's on the hook. Duane Harden is the guest vocalist. I wonder what else he's done. As Corin Redgrave says in Persuasion, "Yes, but who is he?"
Hmmm. Interesting. It is a damned shame, though, cos I'd only recently discovered and then forgotten that Bag Raiders are a Sydney outfit. I was totally ready to get on that wagon. Meh.
Neeeewwwwww muuuusiccc ... where are youuuuuu? New music to delight my senses and connect me with the here and now. Find me, I'm looking for you!
