I'm rewriting a SoP for doctoral programs in English.  There is a good chance that in contextualizing my goals within the critical conversation, I will end up mentioning theorists from University X, which I hope to apply to.  This would be just before my fit paragraph.  What is the protocol on this?  Will U X's adcomm think it looks like I haven't ( Read more... )
