Hi everybody! I am currently a graduate student in a Master's in Teaching program for Spanish certification. My feelings toward the program have been lukewarm, and I'm still not 100% convinced that becoming a high school teacher is right for me.  I was wondering how important your master's degree school is for a future in education.  As of right now, I want to get a master's and certification in ed, teach for a few years, and then move on to something else... there seem to be a lot of opportunities for nonprofit work, policy-related stuff, curriculum development, or education research/Ph.D ( Read more... )
