I am set to start my junior year of university study, and because I compulsively overplan for the future, I've started shopping grad programs. A recent post at Grad Cafe mentioned the potential effect of the current employment and economic situation and how it might affect graduate admissions this year particularly, and I was curious what folks here thought. Sorry about the multiple posts folks.  I noticed the program I'm applying to does not want a CV, so I just spoke to an admissions officer who informed me that if I want to send a CV that's fine.  She then started listing off other "common" supplementary materials that students often send in, and she mentioned that some students submit a list of ( Read more... )

Hi: how are the schools I'm applying to going to know what classes i took if all the classes on my transcript are in short form like "tpcs in eng" this class was actually called children's lit but it doesn't say that . I dont think they will know and I dont know if that's going to be a problem?
