Hey all,
I was planning on taking the Lit GRE in April (next Saturday) to get it out of the way and focus on my essay, SOP, etc. I'm pretty confident I'll do fine, but I have done basically ZERO studying due to a huge work project that took up all my free time. It just ended today and the office is taking a breather this week, so I'll have very little to do from 9-5 anyways. Should I just count this hiatus as a blessing to spend the next 5 days cramming all that lit and theory into my brain, or pony up the $50 rescheduling fee and take the test in September after a careful, month-long study process? Work won't be terribly busy then, either.
While I'd much rather get the test out of the way now, I'm willing to delay taking it if cramming for 5 uninterrupted days won't be as effective as a thorough 4-week process after work and during lunch breaks. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any insight.
