I am unsure of what to make of my current situation and feedback would be lovely.

I have applied to the doctor of physical therapy programs to five schools around the USA back in mid-November, but have yet to hear any reply about a potential interview. Calling admissions is useless considering the most they can tell me is that I'm in the "review process". In the beginning of January I applied to the program at Columbia University (after a brief moment of panicking since I hadn't heard anything) in New York City, and within 10 days I received an email requesting an interview. The interview was last Friday, and I have a very good feeling that this week I will be receiving an acceptance packet from them.

I still have yet to hear anything else from any of the 5 schools I applied to last fall. And I find this odd considering a couple of the schools aren't nearly as prestigious as Columbia. I know for a fact that all the schools received my application and everything is complete. I also know that at least one of the schools has listed on its web site that invites for interviews would be sent out between mid-December and mid-January. And yet nothing... not even a rejection letter.

What can be made of my situation? My head is spinning in circles and I'm going insane with anxiety. I would love to hear the more rational thoughts of peers who are also slowly going insane.

rejection, columbia, anxiety, acceptance
