what to do after meeting with a potential research advisor

So i am a senior in electrical engineering at school A. I have gotten into  school A for grad school, and recently i met with a professor in the department to talk about research. It seemed like he thought i was a strong candidate and he said it was up to me to decide on what i want to work on and with who. I liked his research a fair amount, and the graduate students in his lab were also cool. So it definitely seems like a good possibility.

However, i am waiting to hear from other schools i applied, as well as talk to other professors in the department. Am i supposed to email him, to let him know that im fairly interested but keeping my options open. Or should i wait until i make a decision of some sort, and then tell him, i have decided i want to work with you. I guess , im just confused about what im supposed to do after having met with the professor.  During the meeting he talked a little bit about his research area, and he brought me up to his lab to check it out, talk to other grad students. So yeah.

Also another school B has invited me to their open house, it sounds like they are paying for expenses. Is it strange that i have not been accepted yet into the program through email or mail. Only thing i found is "recommended for grad school" on their status page. So im going to assume that that and them inviting me to the open house means that i have been accepted.

Also do people who get invited to open houses, to meet with professors, normally get offered aid. I guess what im saying is, id only consider the school if they have some type of aid. (I applied for masters of science in electrical engineering). Im hoping that by meeting with professors, the professors need people to work with them on research.

Sorry for the somewhat boring post, but thanks.

Anyone else doing either Phd , or Masters for EE?

Thanks!
