I find that I am not doing a great job of keeping up with posts. Why is it that I always post more when I am unhappy about something. So, my dad is coming into town for the week to help me work on my house. He will get here at 6pm and leave on Friday. I am really looking forward to the chance to spend time with him, since he lives so far away. I also really appreciate all the help he is going to be. Okay, I haven't posted about my house renovation stuff in a bit. Two weekends ago, my fabulous mom came up to Houston to help me get my room ready to move into. We re grouted the bathroom tile and painted the entire room, bathroom, and closet.

I am honestly having a hard time imagining how my life is going to be this year...so many things have changed in my life. As of Thursday, someone who has been one of the most important people in my life this three years is moving away. I am buying my house, which will lead to many repairs and renovations. I have not done too much yet in the way of updating the house, because I am waiting on finding a couple of roommates to supplement my income a bit. I have, however, added a few things that will a) help me find roommates a little more quickly and b) make my enjoyment of the house greater immediately.
