My Pirates are off to a less-than-hot start this year, with a 12-20 record so far that puts them just slightly over the Cubs.  Some of it's awful luck, some of it's sloppy play, none of it's the end of the world, but apparently it's all the cue for the fandom at large to become incredibly obnoxious and hateful and histrionic ( Read more... )

Well, they have a game tonight. Which is true almost every night during the season, but, oh, tonight!

I've been meaning to magpie some shiny pieces of Starling Marte, being awesome, like he does. And today, while many of my fellow Bucs fen are apparently watching a loop of last night's flubbed catch and buying him plane tickets back to the D.R. seems like a better time than most.
