My dad and I watch Glee like its our Friday dinner, and he cried during one of the scenes ( can't remember which one). I finally cried when Kurt was giving his big speech at the end because all and all that's how I feel. I laughed so hard when I saw the scene where Finn said he had a new man in his life.

The thing I hated was the selfish motives Finn had and Rachael (I don't want to talk about her I'm already annoyed with her).

I didn't cry, although Sue's scene with her sister got me the most misty-eyed for some strange reason. I think I was so into watching it that I didn't think about it until after it was done.

That scene with Finn, especially where Puck says 'he's coming out' and Finn's like ,'YES.' &hearts

Ugh, Rachel, I have no idea how I'm supposed to like her :( And I thought that Finn would annoy me because of his motives, but then I realized that he just doesn't know HOW to pray, because at first he compares prayer to a genie so I think he's just blissfully unaware that prayer doesn't involve asking for something and getting it right away, so I think it had to be played that way in order for the revelation to happen the way it did.

I wanted to message you about the episode last night but I was too tired. Mom and I are feeling better about the direction of the show after feeling shaky about the other two. Mom cried three times! We're Christians too but we respect others' opinions and beliefs. We also appreciated how no one was a clear-cut hero or villian. I loved all the songs but Kurt's solo really made me a wreck (where'd they find that kid?). Finn and the "Grilled Cheesus" was hilarious! I was a bit annoyed that they didn't address that he was praying to it for selfish reasons and not to help Burt get better (though he was at the hospital prayer vigil). This episode had meaning for us because we lost Dad when I was young so Mom and I are close like Kurt and Burt. I think we believe in us as much as we believe in God...

Yeah, I'm definitely thinking this is back to the Glee I love, so that's a good thing ( ... )
