85 or so images. Enjoy.
The Puck/Shelby storyline wasn't as odd as I thought it would be. They've got decent chemistry, but I love how they had to pull the 'I AM 18 THIS IS NOT ILLEGAL DON'T ATTACK THE SHOW, VIEWERS!' card.
Oh, Puck. Your brain is an interesting place...
So, Finn's wearing Darren's sunglasses and the shirt Sebastian wore to the bar last week. Is this suspicious to anybody else???
This looks like it would have been a lot of fun to film, though...
I have no idea what they were doing this entire number. But it was highly amusing.
...Once again, oblivious!Will is oblivious.
And the spastic dancing killed me.
Okay, this ad campaign got really offensive really fast.
But the angry white people paid for it, so all's good!
I'm seriously in shock. It was a Wemma moment. And I liked it.
I'm firmly convinced the goal of the costume department is 'find something Chris Colfer can't pull off.' I mean seriously, what even *is* that??? And it costs like $500 or something crazy, too!! But he still works it. Somehow.
I think Will/cookie is my true OTP. He's always eating cookies.
And...oh, look, Santana's insulting people already.
I do love how Sugar looked like she was running to find the towels, though, and the others were like, 'no, she's not serious; she's always like this...'
Ignoring Puck's creepiness, BOYS IN THE SAME SHOT. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY IMPORTANT.
And Will didn't annoy me here, either. Huh.
I am really loving Tina's new look and her hair this year. She just looks gorgeous.
Shelby is not falling for Puck's BS.
I love how Chris has been making Kurt look out the window since the first season, and now everybody's doing it. Seriously. What's out there???
And why is he dressed like Sherlock Holmes?
"Whee I get a solo you said 'new guy' 'new guy' means me, right? I get a solo? I'm so happy you're recognizing my talent, Finn, and I..."
"lol no. Take a seat."
"But..."
"But I AM sitting!"
"Good. Stay there." (yes I totally just used a tumblr meme there. Go, me!)
Seriously, do they not know what to do with Quinn this year???
Finn and Rory discussing trash.
I really liked the Rachel/Shelby scene.
And I'm glad Shelby made her see how selfish she's being and that she's actually hurting Kurt's chances at NYADA by running against him for no real reason.
...Rachel!guilt.
Although if I were Kurt I wouldn't talk to her either...
Poor Rory.
Two things:
1. Eternal Blinn creys. Look at how giant Finn's hand is on his shoulder.
2. Kurt and Rachel are not touching despite being right beside each other.
BLAINE WHAT ARE THOSE SHORTS.
I rather liked this shot.
Oh, and Blaine can fly now, apparently. At least he's wearing socks...
This was just mean, though ;____;
Luckily Kurt comes to his rescue. Poor baby. Again.
And cue Mercedes!guilt.
And more Rachel!guilt. For whatever reason.
Seriously, her wardrobe is *so much better* this year!!!
When did they get the other random Cheerios to join?
See, here I was starting to think that maybe Santana was reforming. Maybe she *would* actually apologize...
And Finn looks so hopeful, too.
And then nope.
Poor Rory. He probably can't understand why somebody could be so mean. Well, she *did* basically tell him to kill himself back in his first episode, so...
And...unimpressed. I'm sure this has been hashed to death but this article echoes a lot of my thoughts on the whole scenario:
here. Basically, in summary, should Finn have said what he did in such a public place? No. But should he have been pushed and prodded and degraded enough that he was to that point anyway? No.
Add to this Brittany outing Santana last year ('plays for the other team'), Blaine outing Jeremiah, Blaine and Kurt *both* confronting Karofsky and mentioning the kiss in a crowded hallway, Santana threatening to out Karofsky if he didn't do as she said...but no, because Finn's a straight character, he's so much worse than all of that, and I hate the double-standard going on. I normally like Santana, but as I said, saying you're a bitch does not mean you get a free pass to be one.
And Finn's just hit home on the *one thing* she has no witty retort for, because he's *right*.
But look at him. He wasn't being malicious. He wasn't trying to be mean. He was just...honest.
Seriously, this was just way too much.
And I was *incredibly* offended on Carole's behalf with the whole 'married to a donkey' thing.
But look, Will fails as a campaign manager too! Woo!
THEY ARE SO CUTE. I am so happy that Mark's such a natural around kids because it comes off so well in here.
...She thinks they're cute, too. Totally.
But look, was Santana angry at Finn in this scene?
No. No, she wasn't. She could have been, but she really didn't care about the school knowing. It's not like she and Brittany have made a secret of anything around there.
I really loved these costumes on the guys.
...These ones scared me. Seriously. He looks like Borat. I know they were doing the whole 'Hall and Oates' look, but...
Scary. I do love that Rory's wearing the same thing as Finn and Kurt, though. I mean, it's been established that he's their lovechild anyway, right? So they dress him and same. And look out for him.
Meanwhile, Shelby just can't believe what she's seeing either.
Tina got to sing!!! Kind of back-up, but still!!!
I...have no idea what he's doing. And neither does Blaine.
Again, he looked really good in this.
They sound good together as well :) And I really liked the girls' outfits, too.
KINN MOMENT.
And Kurt is standing behind him here, so he's looking back at him and smiling.
Hi, Figgins!
Seriously, what's with the mullets on the hockey players???
And Britt's campaign is just...no.
Aww...
He looked amazing here. And while the dodgeball thing was a little weird, I think otherwise his campaign would have looked too rational compared to all of the other crazy ones...
Rachel does something good!
Happy!Blinn.
Yay, I'm glad they're friends again!!
I find her much more tolerable when she's with Kurt.
'QUINN'S HERE! HIDE THE BABY!'
Seriously, she has *no storyline* this year.
Burt's just...yes. Offering to help with Santana's family when he doesn't even know them. But still, you think he'd be angry with Finn if he thought it was his fault, right? After the basement thing? But he's not.
I have the utmost sympathy for her situation, but none for *her*. Does that make any sense?
This mash-up was flawless, though.
And Naya played this all very well.
But gah, Finn, he was so utterly confused!!!!
And again, Kurt does not look angry. He looks sympathetic, but not like he's going to go off on Finn for something Finn could never have envisioned happening.
...Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction, too. That slap looked like it HURT.
And...is that...could it be...remorse???
...Considering that she calls Finn 'fetus-face' in the promo for next time, I'm guessing not.
