Glee-View 3x06
I enjoyed it. Two weeks in a row. Maybe Glee's getting back to good :)
-OMG HOT FOR TEACHER. FINN WEARING BLAINE'S(DARREN'S) SUNGLASSES. MIKE AND BLAINE'S SPASTIC DANCING. MR. SCHUE BEING OBLIVIOUS TO THE SONG MEANING. PUCK. IT WAS AMAZING.
-Kurt was flawless all episode. Between confronting Sue and standing up for Rory to his speech, he is completely flawless.
-Puck and Shelby had decent chemistry, and I enjoyed Rachel and Shelby's scene as well.
-Finn and Blaine didn't hate each other! Progress!!!
-I liked all of the songs. The dodgeball game was lulzy but the ending with Rory was *way* too much and just far too mean.
-I've talked enough about the Finn/Santana thing on tumblr, but I find it hard to have sympathy for her after everything she's done: threatening to out Karofsky if he didn't do as she said, calling Kurt out on his sexuality in like the fifth episode, calling Rachel a man, making fun of Quinn for being pregnant, all of her jibes about Finn's body, his singing, his dancing, etc. when he's been broken down and told he's 'not good enough' by everybody this season, all of her insults toward Sam/Mercedes/Lauren/practically everybody else in the Club, telling Brittany to dump Artie just because it would help *her*, basically threatening Rory's life, and just...was what happened awful? Yes. But it wasn't Finn's fault. The school knew. She hadn't made a secret of it. Did Finn have anything to do with what that girl told her uncle? No. Did Burt look angry when he heard? Did *Kurt*? No. If they're not mad at him, I don't think anybody in fandom has a right to be. What he said was the truth, and seriously I was ready to slap her *for* him because she was so far out of line. Nobody deserves to be outed, but nobody deserves what she's put people through, either.
-I loved the Adele mashup. A lot.
-Hummelberry!! I'm so glad she's come around and I didn't blame Kurt for being frosty to her.
-Burt remains flawless as well. The fact that he doesn't know Santana's family but he's willing to help them with everything? Perfect man is perfect.
-I was very offended on Carole's behalf when Sue said Burt was married to a donkey. I just found it really insulting.
-So...overall I really liked it. I haven't seen the next time preview yet but the songs seem amazing and the week after we get *yes this is a spoiler* SAMMY. MY SAMMY IS BACK. YES.
